Text sewn in black. Open spine bound with black thread in four places; attached round red disks, small yellow beads and ‘tails’ of black thread. Housed in a protective fold-out boxing, covered in handmade, antique Japanese paper and lined in deep purple paper. Closures of multi-colored cord which wind round red flower-like button with turquoise button enters. Laid in a protective handmade cream cloth bag. In an edition of 2 copies, this is the only one for sale. Signed by the artist. Fine.
Fine examples of Morrison’s fabric books have become unobtainable. Japanese Rabbits is a particularly fine example of her work in this medium.
