Barnett Freedman (1901-58) was a British book illustrator of note, who was commissioned by the Limited Editions Club of New York to illustrate several books. His pen and ink drawings of Siegfried Sassoon’s Memoirs of an Infantry Officer, a classic of trench warfare in the First World War, were very successful. He also worked in lithography.
